Exterior

+ Three new exterior colors (available GT):
    - Topaz Gold Metallic
    - Dark Forest Green Metallic
    - Silvermist Metallic (pull-ahead for 1997)
       (canceled: Dark Teal Metallic, Medium Jade-Gray Metallic,
         light Taupe Metallic)

Interior

+ One new interior color:  Camel (cancled: Teal)
+ Lighted PRNDL "flags" added to floor console to improve readability
+ Trip computer on the 3.8L Supercharged engine has been modified by
   adding an "on/off" button for Traction Control and a "Trac Off" cluster 
   telltale (full-function traction control new feature on this engine)
+ "Performance-Shift" has been moved on 3.8L Supercharged cars from 
    the Trip Computer to a cluster telltale as a more logical placement of
the 
    function

Functional

+ Bosch replaces Delco ABS on all cars
+ Bosch full-function traction control added to the 3.8L Supercharged 
   engine (standard on the B4S package/GTP)
+ 4T65-E transmission replaces the 4t60-E on the 3.8L engines to improve
   shift quality and fuel economy
+ Electronically contolled clutch added to the 4t60-E transmission on
   3.1L engines to improve fuel economy
+ On-Board Vapor Recovery has been added to all cars to meet
   evaporative emmisions laws.  Requireda revised fuel tank neck and cap
+ New, intergrated horn package (one Fiamm unit replaces two Delco parts)
+ Mid-1997 changes
   - Underhood lam deleted
   - Hood gas struts replace prop rod

Option Packaging/Availabilty

+ Common packaging on GT Coupes/Sedans to avoid ordering confusion 
+ Added new content, tied similar featured together and simplified the
   order forms
+ The B19 Custom Interior Group has been deleted and the following items
   in the gropu moved to other option groups

               DK6        Full ovconsole
               AP9        Trunk cargo net
               RTK        Rear-seat pass through
        
       - The leather-wrapped steering wheel and shift knob have been tied 
          into the steering wheel radio controls in an option group
      -  Leather-wrapped steering wheel with shift knob is not standard on GT

+ Leather-wrapped steering wheel without radio controls has been dropped
