How often do you need to change the oil for the supercharger. I have 75K on it, and i have never changed it out. Is it time? confused How is this done? thx in advance.

You're supposed to check the level every 36k, but I just change it every 36. Very easy. Remove the hex nut from the snout. Then I use a hand pump to pump out all the oil, then I fill it with two bottles of supercharger oil. You fill it until the oil, come up to the hole.

If you don't have a hand pump... a turkey baster with a small length of vacuum hose (a clear hose works best) attached to the snout works good too. Just don't use your wifes baster...ouch! :ox

I used the top off of a hand soap dispenser, it's a pump and it's cheap (disposable kind). Worked great! I just pumped the old oil into the soap bottle, very easy.

i never changed mine until around 100k or so, but to change it, look at where the snout bolts to the supercharger, and you will see a hex screw on the front side. take that out, and that is where your oil goes. take a some sort of a pump, whatever it might be, and suck it out. you will not get it all out though, but most of it will come out. just go out and get 2 bottles, but i'd get 3 just to have some extra to put some in when it needs it, and fill it up to the bottom of the threads of where the hex screw goes.

there's a link on how to fix the coupler in the snout, but it shows the screw that i'm talking about.
