after a few weeks of owning the car and mostly driving around town Iam only getting about 16.9 miles to the gallon. And thats not great. Regardless that each time I have filled up, I have been up to my governor a few times, its 108mph on my GT.. we have a nice dark new bypass out my way... anyway.. Iam looking for mods that will help my MPG. Let the suggestions begin! Only mods that will improve my gas milage. I have the 3800 without the supercharger.

Hello, I have to comment on this...... While saving a few pennies in gas, you will cause premature wear on your tires if you run 45lbs on a regular basis. You can choose your evil. Other then that, I agree with Herc, and strongly suggest an ignition/fuel system tune up if you haven't already done it. Later now, Clint

as for tire pressure, there will usually be a range for reccomended pressure. keep it right in the middle, and you wont have to worry about losing milage from the tires, and you wont have to worry about premature tire wear

19.6 for me, I need to drive good, I don't have the money to put my foot to the metal all the time.

ok the, keep the foot off the pedal is a good idea, and believe me I have been d oing that a lot now... I feel weak or something, like I have the GT all nice and sporty, and I have to act like a grandma while the freakin ford escorts are passin me. it sucks balls! But what about any fuel saving mods? Any mods that will help this improve?

Like mentioned earlier: fuel sys tune up, replace old parts for new, that helps out quite a bit.
One thing is, the cooler your engine is the less it will have to work = better MPG. Cold-Air Induction! Fender wall intake! or if your really downright serious, Intercooler! Plus, you get more horsepower out of all of these options. Just a thought...
