Last night, I was heading home from an errand, met a stock Stang GT. After a little cat and mouse stuff, we finally decided to run. I think his engine was having problems from the smoke comin out his tail. True, he was just playin with me when I was tryin to accel at 105-110, but my stock GPGT was able to keep up with him. Now for the question, how do I gain top end acceleration? How do I get a better top end? PCM and new tranny? Thanks for the advice.

Someone explain PEM, please. Now, I must rob a bank to afford all this. Bummer the Army dont pay more. lol. Has anyone started using Royal Purple fluids? On the Speed Channel a mid-90's Camaro was Dyno'd before and after, gaining 50 whp. That kind of power increase helps down low or mid-band? Guys, thanks for the help.

Ported Exhaust Manifold.
They increase the air way without the cost of headers.
Royal Purple is supposed to increase the HP. Don't know for sure. It's up there, if not more than, the cost of synthetic oil.

I use Royal Purple in al my cars and while I would guess it gives a minimal HP gain (5whp) it is exspensive but one of the best oils around.Chico.
