Well, today my left rear turn signal went out. Now my indicator light is blinking crazy fast. That's to be expected, I think. Anyway, this is my problem, when the cruise is on and engaged, I move the lever for a right lane change and the cruise disengages. As soon as I flip the lever back I can engage the cruise again. But if the lever is in the position for a right lane change or turn, the cruise will not engage. I've never had this problem before. Even at high speeds, I have accelerated with the cruise and changed a lane at the same time. What could be going on? I really don't think that the blown bulb and the cruise are in any way connected, but I thought I would run it by you guys before I take it to the shop. Thanks.

The crazy flash blinking is a function of the flasher. It happens when a bulb is out as for your other problem ???

Yeah, I'm gonna get that crazy blinking fixed today. We'll see if the other problem stops when I change the bulb. I'll keep you guys posted on what happens. Thanks.

Alright guys. I just changed the bulb out. I'll let you know if the cruise is still not working when I get home from work.

If that light doesn't fix it, chances are it's a bad multifunction switch. Around $70ish and you should be able to replace it yourself.

Well, guess what? That crazy light fixed it. I couldn't believe it. We're all good now. I just can't comprehend how the cruise control and a burnt bulb have anything to do with each other. Thanks for the help guys.

I would expect such things from Microsoft, but not a GP... At least those features pay the mortage smile

Remember our cars do crazy things when electrical systems start getting messed up. Like burnt out lightbulbs causing cruise control issues.

It's so you know you have a bulb out, IIRC when the third brake light bulb goes you can't pop the trunk with the glovebox button. Gotta love those electrical engineers.
