I want to get a CAI for my 99 GTP. Toss up between K&N, Wizaired or Thrasher. What's best for the buck?

I have a thrasher CAI, cant say that I'm completely pleased with it. The box didnt fit right and the intake didnt fit quite right into the box. I did get a little MPG gain and a very little bit of power, but I dont think it was worth the $240 I paid. Thrasher does give you a t-shirt and decal with purchase, but I think thats to distract from an inferior product. If I were you I'd go with the K&N.

I don't know, I kind of like my 4.99 ebay special, all parts fits, no codes, sounds good under the hood, chrome bits and definitly did the job Heck it costs more for just the clamps than what I paid for the whole thing.

I have a thrasher intake, and i didn't have any problems with the fit. It fit pretty nice actually. I didn't even have to move the pcm. i put it right back in the general spot it was in. I haven't ever really tried anything different. One of these days I might do my own, but not right now.

Put them in and taped them all up real nice with foil tape. Here's an old pic of my first design. Cardboard wrapped with Reflictix...
