OK...so I plan to take out my resanator (SP?) and the u-bend and replace it with just some piping. But I have noiced the u-bemnd is there because of that 02 censor. If i remove that...do I have to replace it with another o2 censor, or what do I do?
Or, can I run fine without that censor at all?
HELP!!

No you can take out your o2 sensor and put it in the sriaght pipe its ok, but I would go out and by a D/P from ZZP or another site. IF you do it yourself you will need to make sure you put interflex in there b/c you can't put just a solid pipe. the eninge moves and needs to be able to flex also you would like to keep the resonator b/c with out it its Loud and there is no performance gains and takeing it out. its a striaght pipe to being with.

if you remove your 02 sensor it will throw an SES code. just drill a hole and use the 02 bung.

Really...i was under the strong impression from many various sites that taking out the rasanator increaces hp baout 5 or 6. Also...what do you mean by interflex?

there is no hoesrpower to be gained by taking out the resonator...its a straight pipe thru the middle of a tin can whose sole purpose is to kill the droning noise inside your car.
Most any exhaust shop that does custom exhaust can easily fabricate you a replacement pipe for your U-bend...they can weld the O2 bung onto the side so you can re-install the sensor.

I would just buy a whole replacement 3" downpipe if I were you. And yes, listen to these guys... keep your resonator in! Whoever said it frees up HP is completely ignorant. There is nothing to free up by removing it.

The ubend delete however is good for about 2-4 whp though, but a whole replacement downpipe will free up 10-15 whp.

There is about a 5hp gain from the u-bend removal.Chico(pops)

So all i have to do, is get a small straight pipe replacement on the u-bend and have the o2 censor re atached to the straight piece?

For what that might cost, it would make more sense to just buy a whole 3" downpipe. The u bend is def. restrictive, but so is the rest of the stock downpipe and you'll see much nicer gains and reduction in KR, and for the price
