Yeah. The guy just tried to start it up today. Started up no problem for him.

He wire-tied some crap that would have gotten fried by the headers/pullies.

My mechanic thinks i may still need a CPS or ignition module so I'm keeping an eye on it.

Some time this week I'm going to go back and just clean up/fix some little stuff and *hopefully* everything will be just fine after that.

Headers are still a little leaky and I still don't have a way to get the MPS on.

But yeah, I'm happy again smile

BTW, I think I'm going to need a torque converter soon, I think I'm losing mine...

didn't fix anything. it just started right up for him.

He *did*, after it ran, clean up my wiring harnesses and zip-tied some stuff.

Aparently there were a few harnesess that were touching the headers and/or the pullies.

That could very well have been your problem. You know that wiring harness that runs from the ICM to your CPS? My belts were rubbing on it and a couple of the wires were very close to breaking.

That's a pretty important little wiring harness and it's easily rubbed by the S/C belt if you don't think to move it out of the way.

^lmao

Hey, does anybody know, I'm going to rent the zzp pulley puller, do I need the MPS backing plate to install my ZZP MPS, or is that just for removing the MPS?

Not sure, but I am selling my puller, just rented it out for the past two months. I bought a MPS and waiting for shipment. But you probably need it sooner then me, like tomorrow, instead of next few days. I'd like to sell it a.s.a.p after MPS goes on.

I have a terrible problem with returning car parts frown

I have yet to return my old cat or my PCMs.

I'm going to rent it with the pre-paid label and ONLY rent the puller so I know all I have to do is put it back in the box, put the sticker on, and drop it off at the UPS place.

You know, that $150 would've paid for a nice chunk of your headers

Yeah but I also wouldn't have another PCM incase I fry one of them.

And drummer, do I need the MPS backing plate from ZZP to install the MPS pulley or is that just to remove the MPS?
