It's slightly worse in the '04+ but nothing that can't be gotten used to.

I have no problems backing up my car, then again im trained and drove semi's for a few years so im used to relying on my outside mirrors and not just my rear-view mirror.

You can always install a rear view camera with a flatscreen on the dash.. smile

I don't use my mirrors for things like that, I rather rely on my eyesight. I can't stand people just using their mirrors to backup, and they don't even use them long enough, they assumer nothing is there and I guess they'll hit it if it is. But I am tall and can turn pretty much around. I guess for short people, mirrors seem to be better.

being 5'2", yes, mirrors are a must. I can still use shoulder checks, but that darn headrest keeps blockin my sight right where I need to look. long story made short, mirrors rock, and the rear deck is not an issue for me.

No offence intended but before this did you drive like a honda , sunfire or other mini car? Our view out the back is great in comparison to other things I've driven lol. You should take a 2002 2 door blazer with full size rear mounted spare for a spin or a 87 Cadillac deville LOL.

No problems here, I do have a drivers license and know how to drive in reverse.

I have no problems, and I guess I'm in the small class of people who can drive in reverse.

I don't back out of a parking space/garage.
I back in and drive out forward.

big outside mirrors is one of the things I love about the GP...but I second that the GP has one of the most visible greenhouses compared to many other cars...if your car has power seats bill...raise that sucker up.

I have to admit that of all the cars I have owned over the years, this one is 3rd as far as worst rear visability due to small rear view mirror (onstar mirror), odd angle for looking to the rear sides and the seats grab you so well its hard to look back to begin with.

2nd worst was my 2003 mustang and worst was my 1973 mustang grande (flat porsche 914 rear window with no rear side windows to look out of)
