i have a issue, when i drive on the interstate about 60ish, 2000 rpms my car will surge about 100-200 rpms when im applying light throttle, like when i go to speed up a little or going up a slight hill. this was a similiar problem when my cps went bad. i have cleaned my mass air sensor and that fixes the problem for a day then its back again. any suggestons would greatly be appreciated.

Fuel filter change?
I would go towards cat but I see you have a zzp downpipe. What is the last time you checked plugs, wires, and tune up things?
Clean the IAC sensor at all?

i put the ngk's in about 5000 miles ago. wires still look to be in good shape. also did thermostat and fuel filter same time. theres no codes and i have a catless dp. im gonna run out and clean the iac and see how it goes.

if cleaning the MAF works for a day then try replacing it with a new one...

It's a TCC issue most likely. It isn't disengaging to allow rpms to rise. Next time it happens, keep on the throttle and lightly touch the brake enough to make the brake light come on. I bet it will disengage the TCC and the surging will stop.

i will give that a try rook on my way to work tomorrow and ill keep ya posted.

problem fixed for now. Cleaned IAC which was pretty carboned up and no more surging and idles alot smoother thanks 20gtp02 and everyone with their inputs. Greatly appreciated!
