Hey guys im new to this forum. I jsut bought my second car( im 15) I bought a 2000 pontiac grand prix gt 4 door. I love my car sporty, and fast but it has some problems. when i bought it new like a month ago ( barely even driven it, because of bad weather) the check engine light is on and it starts hard but it runs perfect. and the body molding fell off my car (rear right door). any idears on y its starts hard. has 91k

Get the code scanned and come back here with the code. That would be first priority.

what RooK said, without it there is no way of knowing. could be lots of things. Along with fixing whatever code it throws I would give it a good tune up, change your fluids, new spark plugs, new air and fuel filters.

just get some 3M double sided tape for the door molding. If you dont have the piece anymore, get it from ed morad (his contact info is in the FAQ thread).

and x3 with what the other guys said, too many parameters for us to have any idea what the code it is throwing is.

im going to buy 3m tape next time im in carrol...clsoest town with a WALLEY WORLD!!!lol and all the sudden my check engine light came turned off lol..i was like ok....but now my heater wont turn off and my radio seems frozen...the heater will run with the cr and they key out....im gettin piseed...still starts hard....i just press the gas a bit..love it tho lol its quick
