Maybe now I can get a decent 60' times ,I broke down and bought Nitto 555R Extreme DR's 245x45x17's at $183ea ,and for the rear Michelin Pilot Primacy 245x45x17's@ $262ea,total came to $862 delivered .Without even doing a warmup they stick nice of course it's almost 100deg out in Gonzales they rate these tires good for 15000 highway miles so if your thinking of buying a summer tire for track and street these may be for you.Chico(pops)

By the way it feels now i think 1.7 to 1.8 60' times are attainable .Chico(pops)

Chico,

Please post your results with those tires, whether they meet your expectations or not. I've been kicking around buying some tires just to get some consistant launches.

I'd love to have some DRs, but I would have to buy a separate set of rims for the front. I wouldn't run them in the rain.
