My '03 Grand Prix doesn't have the audio controls in the steering wheel (like my 2000 did). Does anyone know what it would take to install a replacement steering wheel that has the controls? (e.g. if I can find a nice one at the auto wreckers or on ebay.) Would the audio wiring be in the steering column even though my car didn't come with the controls on the steering wheel?

Thanks BlackTop Vinyl! I noticed Ed-Morad has at least one steering wheel with the audio controls, but their ebay listing says "We do not know how to put a wheel with radio controls on it in a car without radio controls."

So that's my dilemma. My '03 doesn't have radio controls in the steering wheel, but I'm wondering if GM would have run the wiring anyway? Or would I have to find the wires and run them from my radio to the steering wheel? Or would I need a completely different radio unit? Does anyone know?

Along with the wheel and switches you might need an SIR coil.
