I'm thinking of getting a plog to coincide with the 3" dp I will be ordering soon. Is a plog worth the money if the heads are to remain stock? Should I get both front and rear, or just the front plog? Should I get cermanic coating? Are the ZZP plogs any good? Will they help lower KR when running a 3.4" pulley?

only get the front, and it is definatly worth it if your not looking to spend 500 on headers, dont worry about the rear, the stock rear isnt as restrictive.

Plog is worth it. I don't know of another company that makes the Plog other then ZZP. Everyone else is headers. The 3" DP will help tremendously the Plog will only increase those gains.

And yes you only need the front. Ceramic or stainless. doesn't matter.

Sorry I'll have to disagree with the rear not needing porting I've seen the welds on the primaries as much as 3/8" obstruction and the #6 primarie sticks quite a bit into the main pipe causing turbulance ,I recommend gasket matching the primaries (grind out the inside weld) and rewelding on the ouside an with a long die bit take out the protuberances of the #6 an #2 primarie ,anyone needing or wanting their rear MNFLD done PM me .Chico(pops)

The rear manifold is ok for a stock-ish car. The rear manifold is arguably the most annoying thing to take out of these cars, and its time consuming. Not worth it to me, unless youre going with headers

I agree that headers are probably a better choice now since there are cheaper alternatives, but if you decide on a plog you should consider a ported rear ,I know it's a pain to remove but there are some restrictions in the rear and you want to have at least as good of flow in the rear as the front ,you would'nt port just one head would you? This is just my opinion feel free to disagree.Chico(pops)

I do agree that it would be a nice gain, and definitely wouldnt hurt, but it is just a LOT of work for something that a mild bolt-on car would not see much gain from.

Plog is worth it, i noticed some really small gains but overall worth it for the cost.

Well Pops if you think about the stock rear is outflowing the stock front. So for a minimum build all it does is switch which head breaths easier.
