i was running at midmichmoterplex on Saturday.

got paired up 3ed round with the track champ/#1 in points

i totally killed him off the tree .010 reaction time to his .109

at about 1000ft my car fell on its face and started sounding bad

im not sure what it is yet but im leaning towards a bad coil pack (damn MSD).

ill keep yall updated over the next week

Why in the world would you run an MSD coil pack on any 3800, much less a high horsepower build?

yep i haven't had time to mess with it yet but i got a few used stock coil packs
if it is that i am going with the summit DIS coils instead of MSD

i think the reason the MSD ones failed so quick ( besides being junk) is because i was using stock wires :p

and it is running on 4 cylinders that's what leads me to believe that its a coil.

What would stock wires have to do with the coils? They are crap.

You guys don't give enough credit to stock wires..... and ya MSD coils are junk.

The summit DIS ones have worked well for me, though im an l36 and dont race...

if using a high output coil, you shouldn't use stock wires think ohms and temperature

I think you misinterpreted what I was saying. I think stock wires are great, I was saying that the coils are crap.
MSD coils are not high output. They are rated to the specs of the GT coils, not even the stock GTP coils. So there goes that theory...

can you give me stats on the difference between gt vs gtp coils, seems to me they have the same part number......
