hey guys..
ive been hearing lots about the GP's having a weak tranny,and im sure the transmission oil hasn;t been changed since it was made. Just wondering if and or any of you have done/suggest doing a transmission oil change with tranny additive(slick 50?)

how many miles are on the tranny?

I don't know about tranny additives but I avoid engine oil additives because a lot of them have been proven to cause foaming and premature wear. Im not sure if it is the same for a tranny tho

if its only got 60k on it and doesnt look/smell REAL bad then id say you could have it completly flushed without problems.

well. it shifts nice and firm.. esp on performance shift.. but sometimes when im not giving it too much gas it seems to bog a bit till i give it more gas and it shifts right up there. but other than that its fine

Just do a regular filter and fluid change ,it should be serviced about every 20k ,as far as flushing goes I'd say no too many mixed results ,people having problems after a complete flush seems to be about 50% so flush at your own risk.Chico(pops)
