Tonight I took off the air box, throttle body, front mani, egr and crossover. The rear mani is unbolted but held in place by one bolt that is stripped for the downpipe. Is it possible to have the rear mani be removed from the underneath?

Questions about front header, is it bad that it hits the driver side fan shield? Should I remove the shield or leave it alone? Also there seems to be a few wire looms that are real close but not touching the header. Will those be fine?

Last few things, does it matter the order of the bolts? I took mine off and forgot to put them in order. For the SSAC headers does the tran dip stick need to be bent?

Ya but you got ZZP headers. Much easier on the install. Still a pain in the arse but easier lol.

What wire loom is near the headers? What do you mean by hits the shield?

I'm not sure what wires they are, but there is a loom right underneath the headers. and with the header in place dogbones connected the header becomes in contact with the driver side fan heat shield.

I remember hearing about people having trouble with the fan shield, but I don't remember what they ended up doing. Seems like they bent it a bit to make it clear. You do not want the headers hitting it, you'll be inviting false knock.

I HATE HEADERS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Whats the solution for the trans dipstick? Should it fit with these headers or will i need to modify it or get a flexible one?

Will it be fine if i run the car tomorrow to the exhaust shop with the dp off? What about the egr tube off the header open? As plan on having them remove the egr tube from the rear header.

its about 20 min away.

Question about the trans dip stick...

I had to take mine off not thinking about the trans fuild and well yea it leaked for a few minutes with no way of stoping it. How much fuild do you think I lost? will it be fine driving till I can get more?

Car is done, cost more to have the headers done the way I wanted but its done... Now on to the issue at hand.

Why is it that when I plug in my front o2 in that the car stalls. When plugged in after its been running and then you plug it in it runs rough. I am currently catless, hoping to have the cat installed later. What are the effects of running no o2?
