ive seen a limited here in fl. it was a 2003 g.p. and it was sold by cortesy pontiac in longwood fl.
the vehicle was a custom done by the dealer only. it featured special paint and instrument panel ( white back with black numbers plus special badges.
different leather seats and some other interior touches.
it was good looking car but he paid close to 28k for it.

The one I've seen from Pontiac is the Special Edition, which is basically a 40th Anniversary Edition, or Daytona 500 Edition type thing.
It has the two tone leather, different exhaust tips, and a different spoiler.

As far as I'm aware, there was only the special edition. Those custom dealer editions may have been called limited but Pontiac did not officially offer it (to my knowledge). Of course, when it comes to my knowledge, there isn't much to talk about.

It has the two tone leather, different exhaust tips, and a different spoiler. yeah I remember that from the brochure. I think it was 2002, The car had two-tone grey/white leather interior, same spoiler and exhuast tips as the 40th anniv, and had blue tinted fog lights, and only came in 2 or 3 colors. White and Blue were two of them.

Originally posted by HercMan: click the limited editions link on the left those are the factory produced limited editions for the 97-03 bodys actually neither the limited ed or the 40th anniv are listed there. I had them backwards. 2002 was the 40th anniv package while 2003 had the other Limited Edition package: The limited-edition 40th anniversary Grand Prix GTP standard exterior features include Dark Cherry Metallic Paint, unique rear-deck spoiler with exclusive Grand Prix emblem, polished stainless steel dual exhaust tips, 16-inch chrome multispoke wheels, NASCAR-style roof fences and 40th anniversary badge. Interior features include ruby-red leather steering wheel and seating with 40th anniversary embroidered seatbacks, 2-tone leather seating and ruby red accents. This was available on the GT as well. A new Limited Edition special package is available on 2003 GT and GTP models. It includes a unique spoiler, special wheels (chrome multi-spoke with Limited Edition center cap), BLUE FOG LAMPS, a monotone lower fascia, unique badges, white gauges, unique seats with door inserts, leather bolsters and cloth inserts with blue stitching. The Limited Edition is available in a white, blue or silver exterior. How are the blue fogs anyway? just as crappy as the stockers?

NO, the lights are bright, throw a nice pattern. A bluish/white. The lights themselfs are a medal housing with glass lens. There 55w/ H3 bulb. A little pricey @ $60.00 per light(gmpartsdirect). I got them because I've seen all the other posts of cutting, bending brackets, splicing with the BLAZER lights. These are PLUG & PLAY, Anyway thanks for the info, maybe I'll see one of these LIMITED somewere. P"CHOP

The special edition was the one with the little heat extractor contraptions on the hood. They are supposed to be functional too. green
