Cause he probably can't get it to hook up. In other words he doesn't know how to drive smile

I took an 05 GT off the line, but that's all I could do. He got me past the 1/8.

Had a 2005 till 80 when I got off it. But had him off the light by bus links. I think these buy them because they sound good. They just can't drive.

Wow, 2005 I can understand but I don't think that a 2003 should kick STC's butt after 40. Did you keep it in 2 or drive?

There's a guy where I work that's a real mustang fan. He says that the mustangs really suck off the line due to the way they are geared.
From what I gather from the 05 I raced, he was struggling to even stay with me through first and into 2nd, then he just started pulling me in real quick.

I raced a brand new closeout '04 Mustang GT the other day.

Best race I ever had, I beat him from a roll and from a stop.

I also raced my buddies brothers brand new SRT-4... I raced one before my mods and lost. I raced one after my mods, and still lost.

I couldn't believe it.

That same friend's step brother also just bougth an STI. Needless to say, I didn't even race him.

(freakin' sweet car though, the sti)

Austin is right, Mustangs do have high geared rear ends. My friend had a 1996 Mustang GT and we raced a 1991 Iroc and he killed us off the line. The Mustang was also a standard and the Iroc was an auto. Both of them could drive too.

i raced a friends high performance z28 a couple years ago and took him off the line pretty good without spinning the tire, it just hooked up perfect. after that though, he was gone when he hit 3rd, even though he was probably gone during 2nd.

Hello,

Assuming you have a factory PCM.....
Next time try it from 30MPH.....If you can grab 1st from a roll, you will blow most cars off the road.....You were prolly reaching for 1st, but only getting 2nd at 35MPH.....The driver of the Mustang may have known this.

Later now,
Clint
