It was causing a lot of electrical malfunctions. My anti-theft system wasn't working right and it messed up my battery. Too bad I had to pay 130 for it because I know there had to be a cheaper way to do it other than the dealership...

There goes any mods I had in store...i'll have to take care of more important things now that this happened no

I've never seen an electric starter that lasts more than 6 months. Between my family and friends, we've had about 10 of them. They have all crapped out within a few months.

Was this from a stock alarm or aftermarket?

If aftermarket, you got ripped. Did they have any type of warranty?

I got the alram and remote starter for $329 installed. I had a slight prob in the beginning but they took care of that. Also, if or when I decide to trade/sell the GP, I can just take care the GP to them and they will remove the alram/starter and put in the 'new' car for free. FYI, it's in Hammond, IN.

If I set the alarm on the key frob, instead of turning off the alarm using the key frob, I though I can just use the key in the actual door and it will shut it off automatically.
I now noticed it sets the alarm off if I use the door key.

Is this standard and I just now noticed or is this not working anymore?
