And you thought you'd lose on the first round, silly. :p

That was awesome, good job!

I have pictures, I'll upload them later.

AWSOME!
I want pics!
I have none.

Also won a GTX car cover, and 50% off Corsa exhaust system. Tax refund is on the way, so I might have to check the price of a cat-back system.

Thanks Clint.
Yes, it was a .500 tree.
The guy I beat in the time slip shown won the 14.00+ event last year on a buy back, and I'm almost positive he won the year before that also.
After I pulled into the staging lane and looked over and saw his gold GT pulling in next to me, I thought this was it. I'm out. Ended up with my best run, and that time slip earned me a bye run in the third round and a solid spot in the finals.

Nice run..... Any package that starts with a "0" is a good one. Looks like you might be a natural. Getting a bye is sooo satisfying..... Almost better than... Well, you know.

Man, I haven't seen a .500 tree since we changed to LED's a couple years ago..... I was going through my old timeslips last spring and couldn't believe my reaction times being so bad.... Then I realized that the tree was set for .500 back then. I go to 3 different tracks up here in the Northwest, and they all use .000 trees with LED's.

Lemme make sure I'm getting this right...you never dragged at the track before...this was a .500 tree and you cut a .5617 reaction time...am I wrong or does this guy have a right foot like a rattlesnake?

congrats on your win Bobby...as I said in the other post I'm gonna have to get my butt down there for one of these events...looks like a real blast.

You should, T-bat! Alot of the Texas guys are real nice; you shouldn't let the legendary drama of CGP's forums deter you. Most of the guys I talked to don't care much for the forums. lol
