I still have the stock lying around. I just don't know if I want to sell it, just like everything else, you keep it for soooo long, then get ride of it, and then you freakin need it. I am planning some mods soon, so just in case, I will keep it. But good luck with the search, and that sucks that has happened to you, more than once too.

did you try to recover from the error? what version of the PT software you runing?loosing a pcm is not a common problem. i would reread all the directions and warnings and findout what is being done wrong... it could be in your system settings too.... what serial adapter are you using? have you done sample pcm file down loads instead of uploading? you have the correct verisons of software like netframework and the other it asks for?

Error doesn't necessarily mean dead pcm, most of the time it should be able to recover as long as the key isn't turned off. I've run into this twice and recover has saved my pcm both times.

Was your laptop or car battery running low?

Stupid question did you try and load back you orginal bin file. MOst of the time when I was doing mine if I scews around to much on one bin file it got and error. So what I did was. do everyting is samell amounts. Also it could be the software. But tring to get intouch with Charles and DHP its Impossible b/c they want yoi to use the forum and now when you ask questions on the forum they get made at you for not doing a seach. mean while if you doa a search you have to go though 40 different spost jsut o get to the point.

Yes, I agree the DHP forum is not that helpful, for the exact reasons D said. All I did was read, and then reread the Webracin tuner guide, and I'm slowly learning.

They should tweak the FAQ at that forum.
