Well, Pontiac always claimed that "Wider is Better"... Nice to see another strut option out there.

Dumb-boy here needs the URL to the wide body store, unless it's www.widebodystore.com, in which case I'll feel even dumber.

Yes it is the W-Body store and the ST struts (Spring Tech) seem to be a good option for lowered cars ,although I did find them quite a bit cheaper on E-Bay through a seller Suspensionmax, these may be worth a try.Chico(pops)

I love putting on new struts, or new shocks in the case of my Ford truck.
Always makes any car drive & handle like a new vehicle.
That's generally speaking, assuming that all the other suspension components are reasonably OK. But you know what I mean, how it gives that glued-to-the-road feeling when you get new struts.

Would there be any reason to get these instead of the GR-2's except price?

OK, here's what it says about the struts and then I have a question: ST Performance Struts [WBS-STS] $219.99 If you're lowering your ride and don't feel like shelling out the cash for the AGX struts consider our new offering from ST. These struts are designed for use with lowering springs (but are also a suitable stock replacement). Firmer valving ensures that your vehicle won't be bouncing uncontrollably over bumps. Firmer than stock struts Reduce Pogo effect on lowered cars So would these be suitable for my non-lowered daily driver? I like firm struts, but if they'll work on lowered or stock height vehicles, can they really offer the best of both worlds?
Just curious, because I DO plan on replacing the struts this winter, and these seem like a good price, but what am I buying?
Thanks all.

As these seem to be a relatively new item, your best bet would be to check out their Ebay store for more info: Suspensionmax or their website: http://suspensionmax.com/ I love my KYBs, but I'm happy to see someone else offering an affordable performance strut for our cars.

The thing with the KYBs is that I've NEVER heard anyone say they weren't happy with them.
Seems to me that it would foolish not to go to KYB, if they are pleasing everyone else.
