so for current status fog lights are in and im very pleased....i drilled two holes in the back of the fog light housing area and they screwed in perfect....i connected the power wire to the alternator positive connection because the wire didnt reach the battery and its working perfect...i then ran the switch and pos wire for the 12 volt source into the boot from the door to the inside....the black headlights should be here tomarrow n we all know how easy they are to install so i will hopefully have pics of the whole setup soon.....HID im still watiing for zzp to get them back in stock or buy from someone in the other area of the forum....

I am hoping you are running an inline fuse between the alternator connection as well as a relay that powers the lights off a interior switch

I think you can get HID much cheaper than ZZP. I know ZZP just dropped $15 off the price of their HID kit, but you can still get it cheaper. i have a 10% coupon for ZZP and I think using that I can still find it cheaper on ebay.

ran it to the alternator because it didnt reach the battery? thats strange. the battery is closer than the alt.

from the right side of the car the alternator is about 2 feet closer....and thats where the main portion of the wireing harness was by choice because i had to get to the inside of the car firewall on the right side is the easiest
