That's a little low, even for a cammed and intercooled car, right?

Hmmm... I think so. I would say more towards 9-10 at idle.

What is your IAC count?

IAC count is 75-80.

Spark advance 25*

I was making like 14lbs of vac pre-intercooler IIRC.

Maybe that intercooler.
What about your fluid, is it still disappearing.

Haven't bothered adding any more.

There's fluid in the system, it's just that any time I add fluid to the fill tube it ends up disappearing.

What gaskets or RTV or combination did you use to seal the IC?

Chico, check the other thread too.

I used the Garloc gasket they sent. When I pulled everything off, it looked fine. There was a nice even "footprint" of the blower in the gasket and no leaks of oil/coolant, save the IC core.

It's a vacuum leak, plain and simple. Way too little vacuum.

Yeah, my vac leak was coming from the IC!

Loss of vac was because it was sucking fluid unhindered into the intake manifold.

I thought Chico told you to use GM superchargr gaskets, not that you didn't seal the Garloc, but that could be another problem after you just fixed this one.

The reason I said to use GM gaskets is BECAUSE the garlock gasket will usually leak and start to fall apart in a realitively short time span, pretty cheap upgrade to the OEM gaskets and well worth it IMHO,but it's your car do as you please.Chico(pops)
