I got my plog back from machine shop (got broken bolt out) but the guy down there reminded me that there is a crack in it. I'm not sure if this crack goes all the way threw is there some sort of test I can do to determine if this crack goes all the way through? Also what are things I can have done to it to fix the crack?

For one you could contact ZZP since those plogs suck, or you could see if they can magna flux test it and reweld it. (magna fluxing is used to see cracks not visible to the eye) typically useful for head surfaces.

What plog is it? is it the Gen 1 plog? if so they all had that problem and your out of luck, should have gotten a gen 2 or headers.

My guess is it is gen 1 since it's having this problem and it was just painted black when I got it. Paint came off first day.

You can have it rewelded but i would just invest in some headers. But thats just me. I went from Plog set up to Headers and cant believe i went Plog in the first place.

No he's saying he's perfectly happy with the performance of the Plog and doesn't want to spend the money on headers and go through the hassle of installation. Yet you guys keep hounding him on "get headers".

Because we know he will at some point. It's easier to do it now.

But what do we know... we don't have headers.

I would have to agree with getting headers at this point in time with stainless e-ba- headers at $200 shipped how can U compete ,I will repair his plog if thats what he wants but to be honest the plog is a good upgrade for a N/A mild build or someone that will be content with a 3.4" pulle- and a tune ect.and will sta- at this level ,be-ond this point headers just make sense ,I know the- can be a pain to install and have issues with leaks but once these problems are solved UR good to go ,just IMHO .Chico(pops)

These new Speed Daddy headers on ebay seem to be fitting well for most on CGP & under 200$ shipped.
