how many miles does your GP have?

Just turned 160,000 on my 99 Grand Prix GT today. (mostly highway miles, bought it used with 17,000 miles). Knock on wood, but I haven't had any major problems with it. Just wondering how many miles other people have put on theirs. Hoping to get at least another 40,000.

btw - 3.8 liter engine

ive got 50,000 on my 01 gt bought it in july with 39000 but mostly highway miles seeing as a drive 30 minutes to Waukesha for school...lol

my '97 just turned 134000.

my old '93 eclipse I retired 3 years ago had 240,000...I fully plan to see the GP hit that mark.

99' GT with about 145K, and starting to see all kinds of problems.

2000 with like 150ish, no major problems except the tranny gave out a few years ago

Not bad considering I bought it with 9k when it was less than a year old. That means I've been putting about 7k on per year.

'00 with close to 106K

Old GT had 128k, no telling how many now, it was still running strong when I traded it in.

GTP has 79k. Or 80k. I might have hit the mark, I haven't looked recently.

1998 GT about to hit 75K in the next day or so.

'02 GTP with roughly 180k and still kicking...

Had the tranny replaced at 130k.

Just hit 82k this morning

97 gtp 142,000

seems to run fine, just little issues, bought it about a month ago

The new engine was supposed to have around 110k according to Ed. So, it landed pretty close to the current mileage of the vehicle.

I have a 99 GT bought it with 46K now theres 61K but drive about 45 miles a day with school the the girlfriend

98GT with 163K. got it at 80K and still runs strong. needs a new exhuast. drive 60+ miles a day.

I have a 1999 GTP with 147,xxx miles. Its never given me any problems

98 GT with 89k

45000 on my 03. That's 73000kms on my side of the border.

136K on the '98 GTP. It had 15K when I bought it in '99.

56K on the '05 CompG. I bought it new.

97 gtp with 140k, bought with 137k in october.

98 GTP boguth with 131,513, now has 131,897, i drive about 100mi. a week if that, but i havent had no problems yet (knock on wood)

2001 GT bought with 79700, now has 80,500

2001 GT bought with 55k...now at 126k and goin strong...and I've done more mods than repairs. Then again that has always been my excuse to mod my cars."If its gonna need changin anyway, might as well make it better"

Bought my 2000gtp 2 years ago with only 13k on the odometer and now i think its around 31k

my 97 just rolled 118k

bout 101k on my 02

but the engine only has about 50 k on it

i got the car with 99,997 and a year had the tranny replaced at 100,070 'sh and im at 121,000 but thats almost 200-300 miles a weekend driving to my parents house or my girlfriends and then i have a a trip to effingham illinois on there also but sill im putting way to many miles on my baby i need to get another car to put the miles on

currently sitting at 23,562 miles, and its an '02. bought it with 11,000 on it.

98 gtp w/ 173,000 Bought it from a friend that drove it for business, and we got it through the leasing company around 2000 with prolly 65-70,000 on it I guess!

I have a 2002 gp with 162,000 miles on it.

Needs suspension work and a new tranny because its slipping,studdering and it probably wont last long until a year or so.

99 gtp and there's about 88500k miles

wow do i have the lowest miles here out of anyone?

2003 bought with 80,000 now has 108,000

bought my 98GTP with 95,000 miles, and now a little over one year later it has 122k.
had to do a LIM gasket, but other than that its been good to me

205,000 on my 97 GT. Only problem i've ever had with it since i've owned it was a battery died over. Car fires up quick and run's great! It still gets compliments on what a nice car it is.

Just picked up an 01 GTP with 32k.

nice! mine still has lower miles, but still your not to far ahead of me.

They mileage should stay low since I have another daily driver.

same with mine, i have 2 other daily drivers

haha i can sell u a '93 escort wagon with 130k on it for like $800...

does it even run ?? my friend just got a saab for 9000s for $200 but we have to replace the clutch slave and then he got a pos buick for 500 and a cuddy for 200, they are great cars to beat around in .... we are also fixing a 95 explorer that was in a rollover so if anyone is looken for one of those ....

ya it runs...it just idles real low and u have to keep ur foot on the gas once u start it up...but other than that its got the normal rust above the wheel well..but everything is good...

I have now over 228,000 miles on the clock, which is in the shop right now, but I've gotten my money back on that baby though sometimes she's frustrating. She still looks pretty amazing, none of my friends can believe how old she is when I tell them.

My 97gtp has 182K and runs pretty good

hah you wish, i acually want to get my clock rolled back on my blazer after i just did my new motor, but its illegal lol. blazer's sitting at 153,000 miles with maybe 500 miles on the motor haha.

my 97 GTP has 156,000 on it now. Bought it with 152,000 in November. I use it for my DD and to go back and fourth to school in. I'm pretty sure its still on the original powertrain.

00 GT with ABOUT 130 on the clock. well, it was last I saw my car. I miss my car.

my 00 has 136,000 and i havent had any major mechanical problems, yet.

My 97 GTP just hit 84,200 miles. only getting 12.5 MPG city and thats babying it I need to fix that.

just got to 123 today .... wow i hate all these trips with my car .... and in march i have one to the mall of america then in june i have to go to missouri for a car show and then in sept to effingham ill for the corvette show

Why are you complaining? All those trips are for fun and aren't mandatory.

Just turned over 79k running someone all over the place.

my 99 has about 122,000 on it. I am going to have to find a different vehicle because I expect problems to begin arrising shortly, but I hope those are unreasonable. I do have a few things to fix though. Nothing major. Needs oil changed, new blower motor, tune up, and some new shocks and rotor and maybe some wheels. Then comes the PCM and Flowmaster kit. THen we will have to see.

I'm just about at 145,000...50 miles away. Hopefully holds together for awhile longer. Motor's been gone through, rest of the car is in good shape...though the transmission acted a little weird. Hopefully it holds up, some Lucas trans slip made it act perfect again.

so i'm the fool that started this thread. as my original post said no major problems.....well... my lovely GP now has 160700 miles and since the first post i have had to replace:

EGR valve
front control arms
thermostat
coolant temperature sending unit
coolant flush
heater core and hoses.
4 tires and alignment
along with being told i have a leaking LIM gasket and head gasket.

So the moral of my post is never talk about how your GP hasn't had any major problems.

mine has 160,000 now. i dont like that many numbers on my car

110k myself

I got my GP at 88k with a 3100 in it. Had to replace intake gaskets from the get go. Then I put a starter on it. Around 108k it blew the intake gasket again and I said the heck with it. I also had symptoms similar to a bad PCS in the tranny.

In went the L67 and tranny and it seems to run fine so far. I haven't driven it that much since the swap though.

02 Grand Prix GT w/ 58,600 miles on it. Orginally bought it with around 42,200 miles on it.

mine has 150.000 runs good all except for the issue with the trans not going in to 3rd gear its gonna be up for sale if anyone wants a 97 4 dr gp gt i will be putting mine up for sale next week its pretty much all original i was gonna be asking 1600.00 obo

My GP had 45,445 miles on it. Its very young for an 03 GT and I couldnt ask for a better car.

almost 110,000 but the engine was just rebuilt so trannys just gotta hang in there

about 102k here.

but only about 60k on the L32
