First Oil & Filter Change

Hi

It's time for my first oil and filter change. I think I've decided to go with fully synthetic, any reasons I shouldn't?

Also, I don't have a service manual, so can anyone let me know what the total oil needed for an oil and filter change is? Preferably in litres... if possible...

I used 4.75 with a K&N filter.

I went to mobil 1 synthetic 5w30

I suggest sticking with 10w30 as I see lower oil pressure that I did before the oil change. I will be going back to 10w30 next one.

yes, it is roughly 4.5 quarts on the GT. just did mine two weeks ago.

High mileage cars may expeirence oil seapage past the old gaskets when running synthetic. Won't hurt anything but make your engine compartment dirty.
