"GPX" Engine Cover. - 04/18/04 04:20 AM

I was looking in the section on grandprix.net about the grand prix GPX and I saw this sweet ass engine cover, cuz I have a ram air hood and it says ram air on it, I'm wondering if someone had just did that on there own, or if pontiac had put out some of thoes, if they did I want to know where I could get one cuz I still think thoes look sweet ass hell.

If the 300GPX Concept Car hasn't been crushed yet, I suppose the engine cover on it may still be ok. But, if it has been destroyed, I'd be willing to bet its engine cover was destroyed as well.

There is one of the 300GPX (Mule) engine covers still around though. It looks exactly like the engine cover you see all the pictures of on the Concept Car. Even down to the rub mark on the left hand side of the cover where it makes slight contact with the underside of the hood.

It just so happens that I own it. I won it at GPG 2000 during the auction. It's sittig in my garage and sometimes for various meets I'll take it down and mount it on my engine. It's very nice looking and a piece of Pontiac history.
