THE NEW COBALT SS (read if your worried about racing one)!!!!

hey i was looking on the internet for information about the new chevy cobalt ss.i found out that it has 205hp and 20 torqe and runs 0-60 in 7sec flat. now they only come in manual but im not sure about a 4 or a 5 speed. but it has a eaton supercharger on it and it only comes in a two door version. it does the quarter mile in 15.4 seconds at 97 mph. it pumps out 11 pounds of boost as well. it has 18 in wheels and larger brake roaters but here is a link to site i found.but wont us stock gt's have trouble beating this lil wanna be sports car? even the gtp will have trouble right or am i off on the stats?

Just think what a smaller pulley some intake and exhaust work will do!!!

I still think it looks ugly.

I've hated this car ever since it hit the market. I mean look at it, its got a skyline look in the back with a civic look in the front. (ouch, bad mix of vehicles).

Your right flyinginagt, it is a competition for GTs, and maybe it catch a GTP. But that is a performance package that is not commonly found on the street. The people looking at the cobalt are looking for a cheap but fast looking car. The majority of the cobalts are the weak 2.2L Ecotec DOHC 4 cylinder engines with about 145 hp and 155 lb. of torque.

IF you ever happen to see a supercharged cobalt. you might want to have a go at it. If anyone has any stories about racing a supercharged cobalt let me know, I want to find out how the GP does.
