Pinstripping

Any of you taken off the pin stripe running from front to rear? I like mine, I am just wondring if there are some before and after pics I can take a look at. I am not sure if I remove it that I would like it. I have some other stuff planned before I would attempt that. I kind of like how it gives the side a little contrast.

I left my pinstripes on. I'm afraid of the wax buildup and possible paint fade if I remove them.

They don't bug me all that much, and kind of make my car look like more of a sleeper.

i would remove them asap .. im not a fan of the stick on pinstriping

Does your car not have it on there 4drgt?

Just green here. I don't like it on most GP's but there's a few colors that I think can pull it off.

Mine has no stripes either. A lot of dealers put pinstripes on and charge $150 when they sell cars. They tried that crap when I ordered my Black Monte SS. I did not pay the $150 and I took the stripes off myself. I refused to let some 18 yr old detail monkey take a buffer to the gorgeous black beauty. See my car's pics here:

Mine did have the stripe, i took it off after about 3 months, got sick of it, thought about blacking the car out until i got the chromes.

No pinstripes for me

My car have pin stripe for about 4 years. I decide that I remove them last summer. It was good. I use goo gone and wipe old wax out that I couldn't get it out. I don't have any paint fade. They are 100% same color behind them. My car is 2003 silver. Hope it helps.
