Radio Reception - 09/09/05 05:58 PM

I'm getting poor FM radio reception on a few stations and would like to know if you have tried anything to boost reception (i.e., signal amplifier)? Any suggestions? Thanks.

It depends. Is your antennae in the back window? Do you have tinted windows? Is it metallic tint?

From what I've read, if you have metallic tint and have the antennae in the rear window it WILL reduce the reception of your radio. Other than that, I have no idea. You might try a signal booster.

Yea, I have tinted windows so that must be the problem because I see the knucklehead above, walking around with aluminum foil on his head, has tint too. lol

The aluminum foil trick might work, but I highly advise against walking around in a lightning storm lol lol

just have somebody ride along with you and when your reception starts to get bad, make them crawl out and put one hand on the roof, the other pointing upward to the sky, homemade redneck antenna, guaranteed to work till you drive under a tree branch and lose it cause it fell out of the window!!!!!! (or lightning hits it) lol lol lol
