intake gasket replacement... - 11/19/08 07:39 PM

So I'm pretty sure my intake gaskets are bad. I have a slow coolant leak that I can't find and the car has a moderate hesitation when its cold. Is there a write-up anywhere to changing the gaskets? I have the skills to do it, just want an idea what I'm going to be digging in to.

Not sure about a write up, but giving up whether your car is N/A or S/C'd and what year it is might yield some useful information out of this thread.

Its a little easier for a GT since we do not have the supercharger. It took me about 8 hours to do mine. I added ER rockers while I had everything apart. Make sure you get the new aluminum gaskets. I got everything from ZZP. I also recommend you get a new t-stat and a new upper intake gasket. Also check your water pump and see if its leaking from there. Watch the video. It helped a lot.
