WIRING DIAGRAM

Does anyone know if there is a web site, or other info on a wiring diagram for a '97 GP/GT. If not, guess I'll have to buy the book Thanks P'CHOP

Unfortunately, common books out there do not have very good wire harness diagrams (like Haynes). The Dealer has electronic copies that he can print out for you off of the service website, if you can get to be chums with him. I have been on the dealer site, and sometimes you have to be creative. The drawings are more complete in MY99 than in MY97. Still, these drawing will get you closer than anything else I know.

PORKCHOP, I'm sorry, but I just checked the Dealer Service information and the only wiring schematics they have for the engine is for the starting and charging system. There seem to be plenty of body wiring diagrams though. Still have to go to the dealer and have him print you some copies.

OK I lied again, There are some pretty decent wiring diagrams for th 1998 engine stuff. Ask your dealer.

Thanks for the replys. Didn't know the wiring was such a secret with GM. Wanted to know what half the connectors that aren't used under the hood and under the dash are for I'll try to beg my service advisor. Thanks P'CHOP
