Haynes Manual - 05/13/07 01:52 AM
Hey, I have another question. My friend and I want to get a Haynes repair manual for my 2002 GTP, but I can't find one for that year. The most recent one says 88-99.
Since 97-03 seem to have mostly interchangeable parts, I assume they're pretty similar. So could I get the manual, and look at the 99, and be good to go? Or does anyone have a suggestion for something else I could buy?

You can use it for 99% of the stuff in there, no problem. However, I highly suggest saving for a Helms manual. Nothing else can compare.
The factory shop manuals are a great investment; here's one place that sells them:
Faxon Auto Literature If you can find the set for less on Ebay, grab them!

blackarrow that site has everything ... i found stuff for my 51 ford on there ... great link!!
Yup I bought the shop manuals for my GP from them, through Ebay:
Faxon Auto Great people to deal with; bought a set of manuals for my dad's 95 Park Ave, still wrapped in plastic!
if shop manuals are too expensive, I tend to like Chilton's better than Haynes.
Speaking of Chilton's, I ran across this while looking around on Ebay:
Chilton\'s Auto Repair 1998-2002 Covers more than just Grand Prix, but well worth the price...

I'll look at the links y'all gave me. 'Preciate the help.
The only reason I asked about the Hanyes manual is because that's all they offer at my local Autozone and Advanced Auto Parts.
