I was just looking at pics from the chicago auto show and saw this dodge truck on the header of the page...looks like a pickup version of the new Nitro...has anyone seen this truck as a concept at any of the shows thus far?

I havent seen it. Kinda looks like dodges version of the H3T.

I finally found some info...it was a concept truck from last year...aimed at the Honda Ridgeline...it has a tailgate that extends down into a ramp, a midgate much like the Avalanche, the rear half doors are sliders like minivan and the back seats and front passenger are stow n'go like the Caravan...making for a load space from tailgate all the way to the front floor...I admit its styling is radical but then again the Ridgeline is pretty unconventional ( I'm also the guy with a soft spot for the Aztek) but the Honda lacks the versatility of this truck.

It looks like Dodge raided every car company and stole parts. I can see an HHR, Ridgeline, Accord... all in that one ugly thing. Hope they atleast redid the transy. And PLEASE don't tell me that is the Ram replacement. And I thought I was the only one. Glad I bought the GP instead, and it was cheaper

I know the truck is a concept, but to the design engineers wear blindfolds when they're at work?

I guess I could drive an Aztek, but it's pretty horrific, it looks like a rejected military vehicle

both the Aztek and this concept suffer from the same problem...way offbeat looks and great versatility...but the Aztek proved that people wont drive something that is as useful as a swiss army knife if it aint cool looking...I personally kind of like the Honda Ridgeline but I dont like column shifters and anything with a loadbed that short doesnt seem so useful to me...I'd take an Aztek over a Ridgeline if I was gonna buy a workhorse.

this was a one off project by a GM engineer...v8 power, RWD...pretty much a pro-street Aztek...too bad the production model never looked this good.

its amazing what some wheel flares, big wheels, side exhaust, and some tint will do to make a aztec look acceptable.
