So my friend on Sundays goes to a buddies for cookout and fun for Sunday Football.
Well the guy who owns the house owns a 2007 Honda Accord vtec Horsepower: 244 hp
Torque: 211 ft-lbs.
Yes Vtec, cause last time I was over there to hang out, we were all liquored up, he wanted to race the GP. Well I would of but we both were to liquored to drive let alone race. He said something about a long open road near his house.
He was telling me all about the Vtec and blah blah blah. Well he asked about the GP and I only told him it has the 3.8l engine.
So tonight he calls me asking how I can help give it better performance cause my buddy told him how I tune the gp. So I am looking for info on soupin up his car.

Later when I sobered up and left. I lite the rubber up in front of his house to show him the GP wasn't playing no games!
Thanks

I believe that year he has a K series motor.
How much to spend?
Little tiny mods or big mods?

Intake, Header, Exhaust, Tune or Hondata or Kpro for tuning. Make sure he drops vtec to a lower rpm.

It will need boost to do anything in that heavy car.

For a N/A build crower cams eagle crank rods. High cpr pistons with valve reliefs. Over sized valves. Ported head and intake mani.

Don't think money is that much of an issue.
I figured and read do bolt ons first, then go with some type of chip or tune.

Ya that is why I listed them first before a tune.

However if he plans boost no point in buying a header is he goes turbo.

DC sport headers are cheap but DC racing are better. If money is no issue than a skunk 2 be awesome. Also a vibrant header and SSR if you have $$$.

Most use Injen intakes.

Comptech for S/C.
Greddy for Turbo.

Can't go wrong with an exhaust but don't go too big torque is an issue already no need to go robbing more.

REad on hondaaccordforum.com that the The exhaust manifolds are part of the cylinder head, so no headers out yet...

All the Hondas around here sport the tall aluminum wings and a huge chrome round muffler that you can see hanging down with a 4" exhaust tip. I figure if they are all doing it, it must work.

Don't forget Type R emblems and neons under the body kit.

Seriously though. a 25-50 shot of nitrous, free flowing muffler and a cold air kit. The same stuff we do to our GPs.

Hmm must of been mistaken then. I'm relating it to a K20 motor since it looked like the same positioning.

Its weird though because they offer DC headers for 03-05 and I could swear they would work on the 07. Oh well.

Hey come on now fellas.

If everyone modded GPs it would be a boring motoring world now wouldn't it?

Absolutely nothing wron with modding the Accord as long as it's done right.
