Just saw a clip about OPEC may not be handling demand by 2024, how the heck can they say 2024?
That is ages away and many things can happen.

Two other mentions of why prices are up, Mexican oil ports shut down cause of weather, and violence in Nigeria.

I have been seeing that all day on CNN.com.... Time to get the gas containers and go out and stock up!

Haha I hoped it doesn't though because I can barely afford gas now with this 15 mpg crap let alone at $4 a gallon. Time to convert the GP to hydrogen! Just wondering, has anybody heard of that? The grandpa of some kid around the block from me bought a kit online to convert his car to run on hydrogen and produce water as the exhaust or something like that. I normally wouldn't believe but the person who told me about it was my neighbor who is a very good mechanic. You guys ever heard of something like this? Does it work?

I friggin hate speculators.

They are part of the problem. They tell us the sky is gonna fall and then the powers that be see that the people are expecting the sky to fall and are bracing for it. So after months of saying the sky is gonna fall they strike and artificially make the sky fall to bolster there profit margins.

I heard that gas prices will be at $4/gallon sometime in late Feb, but that was a projection/speculation

if it hits $3.50 here for regular im selling my truck and buying a motorcycle. my truck already takes $95 to fill up on regular and gets between 11 and 13 MPG.

Personally I ignore those damn articals, they cause panic and when People flock to the stations, prices skyrocket....

And soon enough I'll have to run premium, but I wont mind

the oil companies will always find an excuse to hike prices around any given holiday when they know people will travel...violence in Nigeria...when wasnt there violence in Nigeria?

I seen the news on this but I don't think its going to happen because they said summer of 07 was going to be 4 dollars for gas and the highest I've seen was 3.12 at the most. I won't believe it until I actually see it with my own eyes.
