...in my apartment.Well since im in college im living in Colligate housing with several roommates. We had a power outage today and my roommates freezer which was full of meat and food in our room melted all the food in there. We spent time cleaning it out and theres about an inch thick of food liquid and slime, we are wondering what we should use to clean it up. After the power outage, the outlet didn't turn back on (outlets here are crap, you have to wiggle the plug just to get something to turn on etc..).

Its wayyy nasty and smells up the entire apartment including the room in which I sleep! frown

We will be complaining to the apartment office and hoping to get something out of this.

Baking soda and vinegar. Just google odor removal, its one of the best options. I just had to treat my backseat floor. frown Not sure what happened, I think antifreeze leaked then mildewed...

make sure you get to it before it turns into this: http://www.nydailynews.com/lifestyle/hea...alizes_7_i.html

I walked in my garage once, and smelled something terrible. Trying to figure out what it was, I opened the freezer, and realized it had went dead, and everything in there thawed. It was wrapped in black plastic bags and hauled straight to the dump. Nastiest thing I've ever smelled I think.
