Latest news; I am selling the hail beaten GP. I found an 01 Monte Carlo SS that is loaded and I think I am going to end up with it. I can't find any good forum sites like this one or ClubGP. Does anyone know of some good ones??

Too bad you aren't closer to Kansas. I know the sales manager really well at this car lot. He has sold me my last three cars. They had a 01 Regal GS I tried to get my brother to buy with 75K but it only lasted 2 days. Thanks man! It's loaded since its an SS. It has sunroof, dual power heated seats, black leather and all those gauges on the dash that I didn't have in the GP lol. Heres my plan: Get the black grille with red chevy bowtie, put black ss badges on the doors and trunk instead of the red ones that blend right in and maybe a red bowtie on the sunroof so when i drive down the road it sticks out, i saw that on a GP with an arrowhead looked really good!

I did the opposite. I put red "Monte Carlo" emblems next to the red SS emblems. Good luck finding that SLP black grill. Same upgrades apply to the Monte as the GP.
FYI, I see 1-2 degrees of KR with a ZZP 1.0 PCM, ZZP DP, 2.5" cat back, gutted airbox, 180 T-stat and 89 octane. I see none with 91 octane. Enjoy better mpg with the Monte than the GP.
