V8 Miata?!

Not sure if anyone watches Gearz on Speed TV, its Stacey's program (the old host of Trucks! on Spike). He turned a little Miata into a V8 demon!

Monster Miatas have been around for years. I saw them back in 92-93 when I first started drag racing my Chevelle. The popular motor was a fuel injected 302 from the Mustang.

I have contemplated selling the GP and all the parts with it and buying a 90-91 Miata with a blown 1.6L and dropping a 5.0 or LS1 into it.

My Miata has so much room under the hood that I can see how easily some guys do it. The problem lies in finding a good/cheap LS1 with wiring harness for sale.

I do have an old small block sitting in the garage, though...
