Officers checked the licence plates, and found toiletries and a toothbrush in the car.

I dont like the new accords at all, too much of a spaceship looking vehicle. I like the last gen with the LED tailights, they look pretty slick.

I've been told that technically, there is no legal limit to how long a test drive can last. So if you take a car on a "test drive" for a month, it's not technically theft.

Dunno if it's true or not. smile

Seeing as he drove off leaving the attendant who was supposed to sit in with him during the 'test drive,' it really hadn't started.

Well, it also wasn't in this country, so the laws could be different.

But I know of one dealership that is near me that just gets a copy of your drivers license, and then hands you the keys.

I remember a few years ago some dealers would let you test drive a vehicle for a few days to see if it fit's your lifestyle. Not sure if they still do it today.

I think Carmax gives you up to 5 days to bring it back after you purchase it, which sounds similar.

Re: Test Drive - 03/10/08 07:36 PM

Nope not the same. This was before you enter into a contract. Plus Iirc all dealers have to take the car back within "X" days by law. It's to protect people from "the heat of the moment".
