my shop got broken into

well as some of you know i kinda sorta have my own home already, and ive have moved my other snap on toolbox, air compressor and what not over their, well i went there last night to pick up some parts for my friends Sti but when i got their soemthing didn't seem right....

The door was ajar and the the garage door has a broken glass window. when i opened the door my now empty tool box was on the ground and most of the good tools were taken, the air compressor was gone but they left the hose.....stupid idiots!!

well needless to say ive contacted the authorites and they are looking for them(yeah right!) so im out a bunch of tools and guns and other thing.....i find it weird that they didnt even touch my classic truck that was sittin in their under a cover.....so thats my rant for the day

Ouch... If you don't have insurance, not would be the time to get some, especially with that much money in tools there.

I don't think they want to steal that truck because it is easy to catch where few people live in small town.

That tends to happen a lot in small towns in iowa, I use to hear about it all the time people getting their shops broken into. Hopefully you have insurance. Sorry to hear about that Karl.

yes i have insurance, i dont know what theyre going to do from here. I lost around 1,000 in tools easy, and the wing and a set of rims from my friends sti. the place where everything is in the outskirts of my small town where i live but yet its still in town and its in the "ghetto" so it was just a matter of time i guess....
palsut: this home is Mine. long story short, my aunt is rich and she couldnt get the house sold so she said you can have it(lol), yeah but only good part of the hosue basically is the garage so its just a storage now, Well was.

Start visiting the nearest Pawn shops looking for your tools. Most likely they saw the garage door open and the tool box, or saw the box in your truck as you moved it.

Sucks it happened. You will find you miss that old beat up hammer & hardly working vice grip. New tools just don't have the history.

My mom and dad when they are married. We have nice white house with farm to feed horses, cows and some animals that I remember I was a kid in 80's. It was very quiet area. We are alone up there. Our closer neighbor might be like 2 miles away. It was on Indiana. My mom love quiet peaceful house. After their divorce, we end up move to city to live apt with lot of people. It was huge change for me when I move to city. It is totally different to me. lol
