GPN Issues

GPN Issues - 12/06/05 08:59 AM

1) The "GPX" forum is now the "GXP" forum.

2) Main page link (Grand Prix Mailing List).
Brian is thinking about doing away with that main page and having it directed straight to the main forum page, since the current main page is way out dated.

3) Grand Prix Net quick link.
I'm still trying to work with Brian on getting this issue fixed. Brain has told me that he has no issues on his computer, so it's kind of difficult to get Brian to fix something that does not see.

Please be patient, we're trying. smile

I think going to the main forum page would be a good idea...links could still be provided to the various things there but we could do away with the border that blocks a large part of the screen viewing area...just my 2 cents...thanks for the update Bobby thumbsup

Firefox has no issues with the dead quick link. IE6 has issues and shows the dead link when clicking the quick link. Brian is unable to solve that issues since it is an issue with IE6, and not the forum.

2. Yeah, it's out dated but that can also be updated.

3. Are you talking about the 'Hop To' feature?

3. No, not the Hop To, the quick links at the top right portion of the page. Grand Prix Net>>Other Topics>>Everything Else. When you click on Grand Prix Net it's a dead link if you use IE6 due to compatibility issues with the UBB software. It seems to work fine with FireFox.

Not to overstep boundaries, but I'd be more than happy to review the code and see if I can find anything. Let me know if you want me to take a look at anything.

I'm not full of myself, I'm an technology project manager/application developer for Citizens Bank.

I must respectfully disagree. I use Firefox at home and I still have this issue.

I see in your most recent post that it is fixed, so I will try and let you know if I still have problems.

What version of Firefox do you use? I think Brian said he's using 1.5 and he has no probs with it.
Let us know.
