new daily driver pics inside - 04/28/10 02:09 PM

so, i decided i needed to have a different car besides mine as a daily. so my friend was selling this for $1600, and i decided to pick it up. its super clean minus a few spots of rust on both 1/4 panels and trunklid.
its a 1994 Grand prix SE, 120k on it, and for $1600 it was a good deal i think.

Palsut follower.
If I were to get a daily, I'd get something much different than a gp.
But it looks clean.

Anyway, good looking car! I have seen lot of them at my local junk yard. You are in perfect time to ask me any if you need to replace with. wink

That's why I choose same one to easy work on it as well too. Plus, this 3100 always last longer so I want to keep it forever until wrecked or engine blown either.

I think any thing that is drivable and completely street legal with current inspections and such is worth about that price.

there are definitely some flaws, such as the gas tank o-ring and filler neck (which he is replacing for free), passenger side low beam, front drive hub bearing and possibly a passenger axle...

Still sounds like good price for nice looking ride...even if you do need to make some repairs.

I like those cars! I love my 96...dark green coupe with the 3100. It's got 175k on it now...just took it on a 2,000 mile trip awhile back without a hickup and gets great gas mileage.

There are lots of cars that are drivable and street legal for $500-$1000. That's why I said a little overpriced IMO.

Re: new daily driver pics inside - 05/07/10 11:07 AM

Prior to going to the 3.4, there were turbo 3.1s. Doesn't sound like any of them came with a manual from the factory, tho. frown http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pontiac_Grand_Prix

Wasn't there a special edition one, like the LeMans version, or something that sounded pretty fancy for a crappy Grand Prix?
