I think pops has the skinny on a DIY sim.

lol he knew someone would say that, he is currently on 2 or 3 diffrent s10 forums and everyone just says tune it out, but he has asked what software they use, no one answered, and he has asked for a o2 sim and no one answered, he said its sad he posts on a s10 forum and gets no responces he has me post on here and he got a responce in a coupple hrs .. said everyone seems way cool overhere

Tell him to get a GP.
My brother is on some MC forums, and he said the guys are total jerks. Im glad we can have this sort of community.
well if it's 2000 then it's OBD II so any OBD II tuner software should work (to tune out the SES code).

yeah because i looked on like htp software and they support 01+ for s10's he said they are diffrent as well, and someone said a powertuner wouldnt work eather as well, so what would be an obd2 tuner software ?

The O2 sim is basically a resistor. Get with Chico I believe he has the skinny on what's needed to make your own O2 sim.

If you just stick a resistor in, I think you'll throw a code for insufficient activity, O2 emulator needs to oscillate from ~.1 to .9 V.
Unless the rear sensor works differently from the front? Not sure. If its just looking for 0.5 V, you can get away with a pair of resistors to form a voltage divider.

ok so please explain, isnt there voltage running to the 02 so we would just have to tap into them with a resister

Rear sensor doesn't care about a activity. All your store bought simulators are fancied up easy plug in resistors.

In that case, buy a 1.8kohm and a 47kohm resistor.
Vout = 12V * 1.8k / 47k = 0.46V (0.45V is ideal, but unachievable with standard 5/10% tolerance resistors)
Wired like so: 12V -> 47kohm resistor -> 1.8kohm resistor -> ground. Attach the PCM wire in between the two resistors.
