I got stuck the other night and some guy didnt know what he was doing and he hooked it up the a bar underneath and it broke. I want to get a new one but i dont know the name of it. Its on the left tire like behind it a little and it connects up in the middle of the frame or something. Without that bar it makes my back tire go side to side. (I had it up on a jack and did that) Please help. Sorry that this isnt a 97 though.

What you're needing, I believe, is a rear trailing arm.

Yea its in the back its about 25 inchs long but i think it connects to the strut but it is very close to the rotor. Im not sure if this will help but if you look where the spare tire department is underneath the car there is two bolts that connects those bars.

A pic is worth a thousand words. We don't have a '93 gen GP, so it would be extremely helpful.

Could be a busted tie rod as well if it is allowing your wheel/tire to move side to side.

No can't be tie rod its in the rear.If its that close to the rotor then I still think its the lower rear control arm.

they are called rear lateral arms. all W bodys have them 91-07

the trailing arm goes front to back... the lateral arms (two per wheel) go from the center of the car to the knuck for the hub.

this pic is of a model bu you can see them just to the right of the mufflers.

Thats the bar that im talking about. I understand that it might look different then the newer ones.

That bar is on the passenger side of the car.

Sorry for the low quality but the camera isnt good. I have an idea that its the trailing arm from what everyone has said. I looked it up and it probably could work.

Not a trailing arm trailing arm runs from the front to back that is, the rear lateral arm
