I have a 2001 GTP and just installed an overkill pcm a few days ago. The car feels 100% better and no I did not need a case learn. However you still may need one... Every car is different...

Will you just listen? Seriously, there is no way to tell until you do it. Just like we have said in the threads that are like 2 posts down from this.

well you're clearly NOT listening as you've asked a question that has been answered and again demanded a different answer.

Not to be rude but you seem to ask the same question as others either because you dont understand them or that you just want to see yourself type lol.

Again jorgs_7 its different per car .. you might or you might not need to do a CASE learn.

All a case learn does is sync the CPS with the PCM. As long as the two are within X amount of degrees all is good and nothing is needed.

The reason some cars need it and some don't is because the ones that do are out of the allowable parameters.

It comes down to a crap shoot. That's why it's so hit or miss if you need a case learn or not.

Iirc you need a tech2 to perform a case learn. Not sure if aftermarket tuners that we can get our hands on can do a case learn but usually you need to go to the dealer. And you have to ensure they only do the case learn and don't flash the PCM cause if they do they will wipe out the tune you just bought.
