Maybe I'm wrong, but I thought I heard that was something you had to go to the dealer for.

you don't have to go to the stealership, but it is much easier, especially if you're trying to program more than one remote. I have instructions, and they work, but I couldn't for the life of me get more than one to work at a time, so I took them to the dealer and had them programmed that way
