Surprised you didn't mention the weight difference between it and a stocker. I got the one without a cat, but the weight of the stock DP makes baby jeebus cry.

I got my Jimmy C on order. He said it would probably be about 3 weeks before I see it. Do you think I should take it to a shop and have it installed? All I have is a set of ramps and the typical garage mechanic tools.

I got the gen 2 version. no cat, just bolt on and go but it sounds like the bolts are a beyotch to get off.

True, but if you can remove those two you're golden. The two nuts that connect the pipe to the manifold come off with little trouble and the O2 sensor gave no problems either (I removed it after I removed the DP from the car). Soak the crap out of the bolts with PB Blaster and with some luck you'll free them up. Good luck.
